What is Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT)?
What it is?

DBT helps clients to learn new skills to manage painful emotions, decrease conflict in their relationships and have a more secure sense of self.

With these skills clients will feel more in control of their lives and in their ability to respond skillfully rather than engage in problematic behaviour.
Who it benefits?

DBT was developed for people who struggle with intense emotions, maintaining relationships, have an unclear sense of self and impulsively act on urges with problematic behaviours such as self-harm, substance use and suicidality.
What we offer?

We offer individual DBT sessions as well as DBT skills group. Skills group is 24 weeks in total with modules being 6 weeks long each. In skills group you learn the following skills: Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Interpersonal Effectiveness, Emotion Regulation and Middle Path (adolescent only).
